Sannyas Mahotsava 2006 in Manali
Mood:  on fire
Topic: Sharing Experience

Osho in Manali , Osho in Manali ,  Ahh.. Osho in Manali... as if a tornado of energy has struck the Manali Club house which was baptised as sacred Budha Hall for the next five - six  days, starting on the eve of 21/9/06 for this year's Osho Sannyas Mahotsava 2006. Osho lovers, sannyasins, old and new and those who had no inkling of the impending experience of getting swept into a journey of transformation ... for which they will remain in gratitude for rest of their lives, had reached this scenic mountain location in Himachal (hieght ~2300 meters). Osho had initiated the first group of his disciples in Neo Sannyas movement in Manali, in early seventies. The  OMinous sound of "Manalsu" river flowing in its glory only 50 yards away had set an aura of timelessness in the Budha Hall. Swami Vairagya Amrit who led the camp, observed on the opening day celebration : energy of opening celebration is so high that we may experience kind of explosion in the energy in the days to come. And he was very right. My inside is  still vibrating and throbing and I am experiencing a free flow of my being even after 8 days of returning from camp. Swami Kirti may ask : "aisa kaise" ? and one would say : "raso vai sah" .  In addition to the Osho's jet age meditation ( dynamic and kundalini) done regularly on all camp days many other techniques were experimented in the camp. The candle flame meditation was a beautiful experience. Sharing the silence, love and meditative enrgy of Swami Vairagya Amrit was a moving experience. The team of Tao Vision of Karnal has taken great pains to take care of minutest detail of facilities for the participants. The food as well as catering by the Club house staff was very good. The accomodation provided in rooms in near by hotels was very convenient. On the 4th day a reporter from "Jagaran" news paper came for coverage and interacted with a number of participants. Finally Sw Vitthal from Mumbai answered his queries and gave him some great insight on the work of Osho and his Vision. No doubt the enrgy of Osho's people  was so infectious that our reporter friend revisited the clubhouse on all the remaining days and interacted with many other participants. On behalf of all participants great many thanks to Swami Anurag and his team.

With Love and Gratitude

Anand Arhat, New Delhi

I would like this commune to live, and it is going to live, but then ....
Mood:  chatty
Topic: Osho Commune
Osho's insight on the functioning of commune organization (a Darshan Diary excerpt)

"So always remember: whoever is in charge has to be looked to, he has to be respected. And if there is something wrong, later on you talk about it ; but never get angry, never get arrogant. Only then can this commune function; otherwise it will be....
"Do you know that all communes die? The longest life of a commune up to now has been three years. I would like this commune to live, and it is going to live, but then the functioning has to be totally different. Those communes die because they have a democratic structure; that's why they die. You cannot have a democratic structure in a commune; otherwise nothing will work.
"The commune has to be in a totally different way; it has to be a discipline. Not everybody has to assert themselves; otherwise fights and then cliques will happen; and then people will join together - a few people with Manisha, a few people with Sheela- then conflict over who is more powerful will happen. These things will go on and they will destroy the whole thing that I am trying to do; your energy will get involved in those things. They have to avoided, I am very alert from the beginning.
"I would like this commune to function so smoothly that it can become an example. Communes have become very condemned because they start with great enthusiasm, then everything falls flat. It falls flat because of the politics of people; and this is how politics enter. I am very keen that no politics should enter, and the only way is: always look to the person. You should have written a letter to me that this happened. I am always there; it would not have created any trouble. She cried; she is suffering, and you have been sitting there, miserable for no reason at all!

OSHO quoted from Darshan diary "Don't Bite my Finger, Look Where I Am Pointing" by Dr George Meredith in his book "Bhagwan: The most godless yet the most godly man" Page 281

Back From Manali
Mood:  happy
Just back from my trip to Manali. this was my third one. The place is now very crowded. Visit to Rohtang Pass saw around 500 vehicles driving out bumper to bumper. My god we are now so much in numbers. It was vehicle smoke all the way which spoiled the spirit and there seemed no adventure. But its still wonderful at peripheries of Manali. Specially in Naggar area, its peaceful and serene. There are apples and apples and Plums on every tree along the road and the river Vyas is hurtling down in all its glory. Its cool and misty and the drive from Manali to Kullu (on the Naggar side ) is worth an experience. I noticed two Osho connections there one in Ghourdor ( check out from its link under "home away from home" in sannyas.net site ) and other named Sammasati Meditation centre of Sw Samdarshi. Many freinds from foreign countries are staying scattered in this area and are seen using rented bikes and enjoying the surroundings, whereas Indians are crowding in the hotels around Mall and as usual missing the point.

ABOUT MOULSHREE MEDITATION SOCIETY
Mood:  happy
We, a small group of Friends connected to OSHO and his vision, have joined together to enjoy the feel of working in a group energy field. We have formed Moulshree Meditation Society, named after the Moulshree tree located in Bhanwar tal park near Bus stand, Jabalpur , Madhya Pradesh INDIA. This tree witnessed the enlightenment of our beloved OSHO. Facilitating one day meditation events at small locations in Delhi is continuing for the last 3 years. The creation of Moulshree is to bring together numerous enthusiastic osho lovers who were earlier working on individual basis. This idea of Sw Prem Sanatan who had been passionately organizing Osho Books Exhibitions in Delhi for more than a decade is to propagate the vision of our beloved master Osho and introduce his Meditations to the common people through concerted efforts. Sw Prem Sanatan is also facilitating daily meditations from Osho Fiza Meditation Centre located at Bahadurgarh. (Phone 951276243227) Osho Books Exhibitions : A Kiosk of Osho Books and Tape discourses is also set up at all meditation camp sites.
